My Twins?

Posted by Unknown 0 comments
Me for one have never met people that have the same birth date as mine. But, there's always possibilities for everything! Would you believe such thing as fate, when you found out that someone out there was born on the same day, same month, and same year as you? Well, if its only up till that point, at a certain time I would have agreed with. But to my amazement that, how could you also find someone that was also born in the same place, work under the same department and till an extend of sitting at the same area where our little cubicles are; and neither did one of our lives being cross before all these years?! Talk about deja-vu...
Haha...that would be the one day I won't be forgetting any time soon.

This year, some of our colleague celebrated our birthday together. Oh well, since our birthday was reveal some time back; we are already known as the department's twins! Haha..never in my life would I've thought of having a sister...twin sister?! keke... Thanks for the cake!! 고마워

Since then, it seem like we are having so much luck in finding people (within our own department) with the same Birth date as us. There's one, well not exactly twin but younger by 1 year (still same birthdate). And today, during lunch we found out that we are having another twin??! Haha...same day, same month and same year! The whole gang just LOL! What else can we do..... Four people sharing the same Birthday?? Did our boss picked their candidates based on date of birth? Hahaha...that possibility is way out of hand as all of us are not under the same boss. Our bosses should treat us all next year!! What a coincidence..하하하!!!

We Grow Old Together

Posted by Unknown 0 comments
Reminiscing the good old days..even if it's only been a year since we last met. Still, time flies without us noticing. And even if we do realise it...life still goes on no matter what. Appreciate those around you, we may fight at times but at the end of the day we still have each other. That's what friends are for! =)

Well I'm getting a little emo ryte?! Talk about drama...ishh..lol...just thought of them somehow when I stumble across the wedding pictures my friends took of us a year ago. Wow...really am still now..digesting that some of them are really married! We are no longer JUST students right?? I miss those times thou..Am more free to express oneself than stuck in this cruel working-society-full-of-everyday-burden-and-responsibilities kind of thoughts. But, can't complain much here...everyone has their own life. GOD wrote and guide us thru differently. Just have faith in HIM. That's all HE ask for.

9 Soothing DIY Facial Masks

Posted by Unknown 1 comments
Oh well..this is not something I would read nor write about as I myself rarely go for facial. But seemingly Koreans girls (or guys?!) have one of the best skin trait in the world, I just figure that's due to the diligent them of having facial pack done every single day..well as frequent as it may seem I think. But, well for an average us, I don't think I can afford having facial done that often as it cost a tonne! Korean products in Korea are damn cheap thou! hmph! But not so elsewhere....

With this...why not just treat your skin to an equivalent face pack "homemade-style"...you could enjoy the beauty of it without the guilt feeling in the pocket! Recently read this article which came to me as a "shocker".  Who knows BANANAs can be used as face mask?? Yea, told you so..this is so not-my-cup-of-tea...I usually don't just sit there and browse thru ways to beautify myself..well I'm just plain lazy I think! haha...

Let's cut thru all the craps..and get down to what's important...

9 Soothing DIY Facial Masks

Banana (바나나)

Who needs Botox when you have bananas? That’s right: You can use a banana as an all-natural face mask that moisturizes your skin and leaves it looking and feeling softer. Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10-20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water. Another popular mask recipe calls for 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 medium banana.

Vinegar (사과식조)

Using vinegar as a skin toner dates back to the time of Helen of Troy. And it’s just as effective today. After you wash your face, mix 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with 2 cups water as a finishing rinse to cleanse and tighten your skin. You can also make your own facial treatment by mixing 1/4 cup cider vinegar with 1/4 cup water. Gently apply the solution to your face and let it dry.

Personally, I think this brand is the best! I love the taste of it too.

Milk (우유)

Oh well not exactly on your left! hahaha..but it simply taste de-li-ci-ous! A-must-try item in Korea! Banana Milk!
Here’s another way to give yourself a fancy spa facial at home. Make a mask by mixing 1/4 cup powdered milk with enough water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture, let dry completely, then rinse with warm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated.

Oatmeal (오트밀)
If you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up that will leave you feeling and looking better, give yourself an oatmeal facial. Combine 1/2 cup hot — not boiling — water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 table-spoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mixture to your face, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. (Be sure to place a metal or plastic strainer in your sink to avoid clogging the drain with the granules.)

Mayonnaise (마요네즈)
Why waste money on expensive creams when you can treat yourself to a soothing facial with whole-egg mayonnaise from your own refrigerator? Gently spread the mayonnaise over your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Then wipe it off and rinse with cool water. Your face will feel clean and smooth.

Yogurt (요구르트)
You don’t have to go to a spa to give your face a quick assist:
• To cleanse your skin and tighten the pores, slather some plain yogurt on your face and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
• For a revitalizing facial mask, mix 1 teaspoon plain yogurt with the juice from 1/4 slice of orange, some of the orange pulp, and 1 teaspoon aloe. Leave the mixture on your face for at least five minutes before rinsing it off.

Mustard (겨자)
Pat your face with mild yellow mustard for a bracing facial that will soothe and stimulate your skin. Try it on a small test area first to make sure it will not be irritating.
Ermm...for me I would not recommend it! Wouldn't it be a whole lot spicier on your face if you do that?!

Lemon (레몬)
Create a facial that both exfoliates and moisturizes by mixing the juice from 1 lemon with ¼ cup olive oil or sweet almond oil.

Egg (달걀)
Who has time or money to spend at the local day spa, paying someone to tell you how awful your skin looks? For a little pampering, head to the refrigerator and grab an egg. If you have dry skin that needs moisturizing, separate the egg and beat the yolk. Oily skin takes the egg white, to which a bit of lemon or honey can be added. For normal skin, use the entire egg. Apply the beaten egg, relax and wait 30 minutes, then rinse. You’ll love your new fresh face.

Personally I've tried the egg white mask, your skin do feels instantly smooth & fresh!

K-drama Bingo

Posted by Unknown 0 comments
Basically over these past few years, maybe around 7 years to be exact; it can be easily said that I've watched over 100+ Korean Dramas of my liking. Usually I'm not that picky-of-a-person on dramas I watched. Any genre is fine with me as long as I find the story line amusing or interest me in some way. Personally, I would only skip those Loooong-winded-historical-drama (watching those just makes me feels "huskier"..lol..maybe that's how they should sound in the past! ^O^).

Thinking of starting your K-drama journey? Nowadays there's tonnes of dramas to choose from various Korean broadcasting station; KBS, SBS, MBC, OCN, tvN to name a few. With 3 of the top & largest television network in Korea [situated around Yeouido South Korea] :
KBS - Korean Broadcasting System (한국방송공사) -- han-guk-bang-song-kong-sa
MBC - Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (문화방송주식회사) -- mun-hwa-bang-song-chu-sik-hwi-sa
SBS - Seoul Broadcasting System (에스비에스 / 서울방송그룹) -- ee-su-bi-ee-su/so-ul-bang-song-gu-rup

There are two companies who handle tax refund in Korea; namely Global Blue (blue) and Tax Free Korea (red). Look out for the blue/red signs at the store front before you shop.

Nichkhun. Advertisers were not disturbed. Why?

Nichkhun. Advertisers were not disturbed. Why?

With a sigh of relieve after this was reported. Alls well, and don't judge a person negatively just based on a single foolish mistake that had been done. Hope to see him up again! Hwaiting! =)

It was reported that:

Nichkhun has taken a time off since July as he got involved in a DUI accident. Once a star is exposed to public criticism, first and foremost, that start is cut off from commercial advertisements. However, that did not happen to Nichkhun who gets the biggest amount of commercial advertising deals among 2PM members. That is a special case.
